No Arms or Legs… BUT…Pauline Victoria Knows How To Lead and Connect

Are you living beyond your limitations or are you feeling sorry for yourself looking at what you don’t have?

Pauline Victoria is a mom without arms or legs who works to inspire others regularly.

Pauline knows how to live a life of freedom as a whole person and share it with others by her example.  I resonated greatly with her during my exclusive interview as she shared her vision, her internal power and how she takes action every day.

After my brain and spine injury in 07′ there was a long period of healing.  During the recovery time, I educated myself to keep my brain neurons connecting.  Since I couldn’t be upright for long, I laid in bed and learned to use the telephone to teach and interview.  I interviewed ordinary people who have extraordinary stories, like Pauline, who have created extraordinary lives by using what they have to create rather than focusing on what they do not have.

Pauline and I created several audios together while I hosted a radio show on what was known as Motivational Radio at the time, and we had fun as well as learned a tremendous amount from people who are living life to the fullest, no matter their limitation.

Lets think about how far reaching each of us can be… all around the world there are soldiers who have been through war who are now amputees, people recovering from disasters, accidents, attacks and injury, people who just want to give up due to a physical or emotional challenge… EVERYONE needs inspiration and a path for moving forward on.

Whether we know it or not we all have a greater purpose to share on some level.   So here is my challenge to you, either you can sit back on your laurels and simply wait to be inspired, or you can learn how to do the inspiring.  If you do both in your life then you’ll know what it means to thrive instead of just survive.

If you want both, then start right here with these 5 free interviews I’m giving to you just for visiting this site. To the right you’ll see where you can sign up today. You can also share this post with others who need inspiration in their life.

I’m sending you love and appreciation.

    Kellie,
I’m so glad you share your experiences with us like this. You absolutely are reaching out and giving to others through your posts. Instead of judging people by their physical appearance, we should look at the person within. Like you said, the contributions they give us are priceless.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Val

  2. Kellie,
Wow! The stories of these brave people are inspiring and should be told! Keep them coming.

Having adult-onset MS has given me the privilege of living on both sides of the fence. It is my goal to help those who don’t have the ability to use their legs for any distance walking maintain a high quality of life with exercise, proper nutrition and a positive mental attitude. Having a disability doesn’t mean you aren’t a whole person!

While people like Pauline, Nick and Jessica inspire us, we can give strength and dignity back to them!

One thing I’ve learned from these wonderful people and so many more is that what you focus on expands. If you want love, seek it with all your heart and you’ll find it, if you want joy, again the same. If you want money then you will have to go the distance in learning to find the love and joy or that money may never happen. Thank you for posting Darlene.

Kellie – Thanks so much for introducing me (and I’m sure a few others) to Jessica. I was already familiar with Nick Vujicic, and have always been totally inspired by his absolutely love for life and those with whom he interacts. No matter our personal circumstances — whether physical, mental, financial, relational, or anything else — everything in life is a blessing. It’s all in how we view and respond to it. We truly create our own realities!

    This is a beautiful post~
Thank you for sharing! When I was afflicted with multiple sclerosis I started to realize that everyone was afflicted by something! God could save us from these experiences in the blink of an eye – but He allows everyone to experience what I’ve come to call “God Allowed Adversity” Different for everyone, all with the same purpose. The purpose is to get us back to Him, and help others in the process. Pauline is a shining example! Thank you Kellie for telling us Pauline’s story!

Hi Linda – thank you kindly. It is definitely about where you place our focus and whether or not we live in surrender to a heart of gratitude or one of complaining. Such a difference. Keep moving forward Linda you’re doing fabulously well!

  6. This is truely an inspiring story.

It really puts things into perspective. Its amazing when we hear people complain about the simplest things…then, there is a story like this, Someone who has every reason to complain but ‘CHOOSES’ not. to.

It just goes to show you…everyone has choices in life…no matter what the situation.

    Thank you for sharing Kellie,

    Regards,
    Sharon.

Sharon, I agree, and even when there is a ‘perception’ of no choice, there is still a choice to believe there is one. Fear keeps people paralyzed of course and gives the perception of having no choice, but when we look past the fear we realize the power to believe anything is possible.

  7. Hi Kellie,

Great to have you back up and running!

It is so important to bring these inspirational stories to the whole community. I can easily fall into “woe is me” thinking, but when I hear stories of others who have conquered far greater troubles than mine, it gives me a much needed wake-up call.

My son has had Type 1 Diabetes since he was 9. It is a very serious, life threatening disease. Yet, despite the difficulties we face every day, he is able to run and sing and for today he is alive! The same cannot be said for many other precious children whose parents would be happy to suffer our “difficulties” to see their child active or even just alive.

It is human nature to feel sorry for ourselves, but it is also human nature to stretch beyond ourselves. It is a matter of balance. Not easy!

I’m so happy that your son is doing so well. The attitudes and examples of parents who can rise above anything will teach the children that anything is possible. Congrats Nancy, you are obviously doing well! :) Human nature isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be, which is why we need to lean more on the spiritual nature to overcome. Thank you for commenting.

Kellie – inspiration happens because leaders step up.. it’s always a special inspiration when someone who has a ‘perceived’ handicap steps up.
